Artist's Statement: Don Lewis has been taking photos off and on since he was old enough to hold a Kodak Brownie (a long time). In 2004 he bought his first digital camera and it rejuvenated his interest. He enjoys taking photos of landscapes, flowers and wildlife. National Parks of the Western U.S. are his favorite places to go. His favorite photos have lots of vivid colors.
Artist: Paint Box Guild
Artist's Statement: The 40 active member, not for profit, Littleton, Colorado based guild was established in 1973 by Lucille Grisham and encourages beginning artists, as well as advanced, being a forum for exchanges of ideas, encouragement and venues for exhibition.
Artist: David Kish
Artist's Statement: David became captivated by photography while attempting to picture his young children during various family events. No subject is more daunting than a toddler eluding a father's lens! An avid outdoorsman, David turned his focus toward nature photography where a stationary subject seemed far more agreeable. David is driven by an insatiable quest to capture an image exactly as it appears in nature and is completely satisfied with the reward of capturing an image that represents the inherent beauty of the surroundings.
