“I love painting people’s portraits. Something happens to their soul when I put color in their faces (masks). Thank you for taking a peek into my world of color and figure. To get a glimpse of what I see and the way I perceive it. You can see more of my work at www.arturogarciafineart.com”

Artist's Statement: My art is an expression of my heart and soul; a search for “Truth” and an admiration for nature and life. The will to continue with my art comes from the Loving Heavenly Voice that tells me “keep up with your art”. The driving force in my fingers to hold the brush and create original art is a gift of “True Love” from my family. As I progress on the path of an artistic pilgrim, I seek to engage viewers into an artistic consciousness to love and respect Mother Earth .
Virtual Light Imagery and Heart of the City
Artist: Michael Palmieri
Artist's Statement: I first picked up a 35mm camera during a mixed media film class in 1969, and I fell in love with the medium. I am passionate about the entire process: seeing what is “there” and beyond, composing the scene, and working toward a final piece. With my Leica M8 and digital photography, I have been able to explore a long-held dream: painting in bold colors with my camera. You see my favorites of this adventure here, printed on aluminum for maximum effect. Along the way, there have been several phases in my photographic journey. Photojournalism developed my sense of producing work that tells a story. I will return to my roots of black and white photojournalistic work in the future. Glamour photography inspired my belief in a special beauty of people and places, and my dedication to portray that beauty in my photographs. Thanks for spending some time with my artwork.
