2013 Holidays and Closures | Arapahoe Library District
Hi there would you mind sharing which blog platform you're using? I'm planning to start my own blog in the near future
but I'm having a hard time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I'm looking for something
completely unique. P.S My apologies for getting
off-topic but I had to ask!
web development platform
Hey, shoeinmoneyblog, glad you asked! Our site is developed in Drupal, but if your needs are just for a blog, I'd actually recommend WordPress. I really love Drupal, but the learning curve for it is a bit steep, and WordPress was designed specifically FOR blogs, whereas Drupal is a heavier-duty development tool for many different kids of web sites. As far as the look and feel, and "uniqueness," with either WordPress or Drupal, you can customize them completely by using themes that come with the software, themes that are developed by others and are freely available, or, if you have CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) experience, you can develop your own. (Ours was developed from scratch, based on a design created by the District's Communications/Marketing Department.) Back to WordPress: it's available in two formats: you can host a site for free at WordPress.com, OR you can download the software to run in your own server environment from WordPress.org. The former option is quicker and easier to get started, but the latter is much more customizeable, which may appeal to you if you're after uniqueness. :) Hope this helps; please feel free to follow up with any other questions!
booking Room A in May
Why are all the May dates crossed out for Room A. I would like to secure the Room on the 6th and 20th in the morning for our PEO meeting which I have done before.
Please advise.
Thanks
