And what happens if I check the Freeze box next to a hold? reply Freeze Hi Virginia--if you click the "freeze" box next to a hold and then "update list," it will freeze (suspend) the item(s) selected for 8 months. Thanks! reply renewal How many times can I renew a book? reply renewal Hi Alanna, if borrowing a book within the district, you may renew the book up to three times as long as there are no current holds on the book. However, interlibrary loans do not allow renewals and Prospector loans only allow one renewal.
