Kay Fair

Volunteer Spotlight: Friends of the Library Board President, Kay Fair

Colorado has always been home for Friends Board President, Kay Fair. In fact, Kay and her children were all born in the same Denver hospital! After graduating from Alameda High School, Kay went on to the University of Colorado at Denver and received Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and History. In 2002, Kay went back to school and received a Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Denver. She and her husband, Harry have been married for almost 30 years and have five children. Kay served on the Cherry Creek School District Board of Education for more than eight years. Currently, she is on the steering committee of the Special Education Advisory Committee of the Cherry Creek School District and is the Interim Director of the Cherry Creek Schools Foundation. ALD is so fortunate to have your leadership and dedication, Kay. Thank you for serving as the Friends Board President. [more]
