How do I check my library account?
Manage your library account by viewing items you currently have checked out, renewing items, viewing your requests (holds) and more. Follow the link on any page to My Library Account to get started.

The Arapahoe Library District seeks to find the best possible candidate for each open position. Job opportunities change regularly based on the current needs of the Library District.
How do I get an item that the Library does not own?
The Arapahoe Library District does not always own the item you would like to check out. When we don't own an item, we'll do our best to get what you need by purchasing the item for the Arapahoe Library District or borrowing it from another library (Interlibrary Loan).
How do I renew a book?
We make it easy for you to renew your items in person, by phone, or online.
How do I reserve a meeting room?
Meeting rooms are provided for community use at various Arapahoe Library District facilities. Amenities vary by location, and an application must be submitted to the location where the meeting will be held.
How do I reserve/request a book?
To request (reserve) a library item you must have an Arapahoe Library District library card, then find the item you want by searching our Online Catalog.
How do I use wireless internet at the library?
Free wireless Internet access is available at Arapahoe Library District public libraries. You don't need a plug or phone jack, just turn on your notebook/laptop computer or other wireless device and start surfing.
How do I volunteer at the library?
The Arapahoe Library District invites you to share your talents and expertise by participating in the volunteer opportunities at your District library.
Teens are especially welcome to help coordinate and plan activities for the Library District's annual Summer Reading Programs and to participate in focus groups and other teen programs sponsored by the different libraries.

How long can I keep the items I have checked out?
Borrowing Periods
1 WeekMagazines, Videos and DVDs excluding DVD sets with 3 or more discs.
3 Weeks All other library items including DVD sets with 3 or more discs.
Renewal Periods

Magazines cannot be renewed
You can renew each item up to three times if it is not reserved for another patron. You can renew items at a library, by calling 303-220-7708, or online through My Library Account.

How much are fines and how do I pay them?
If an overdue item is returned within two days after the item is due, the fine is excused. If not, the fine is due and payable from the original due date.
Individuals, 62 and older, are not charged fines. Please let us know if you qualify.

What are the borrowing guidelines?
We want your borrowing experience to be a great one! To make it easy, we have the information you need about borrowing items from the library, including how long you can keep items, how to return them, and more.
What do I do if my library card is lost or stolen?
If you have lost your card, the charge is $1 for a replacement card.
Please contact your library immediately to report lost/stolen cards. We can block your account to prevent unauthorized use.

Where can I return an item I have checked out?
You can return items borrowed from the Arapahoe Library District to any public library in Colorado.
