The following are school summer reading lists for local Middle and High Schools.


Middle Schools

Campus 2014 Summer Reading List for Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Grade.
Cherry Creek Academy 2014 Summer Reading Requirements List

Falcon No required reading list. Choose from the suggested reading list created by the librarians.
Kent Denver Two books are required from this list.
Newton Students required to read one fiction and one non-fiction. Librarian creates a summer reading brochure with suggestions but the books on the list aren't mandatory.
Powell No specific books required. Students are required to read at least 3 books during the summer. Guidelines provided from the school.

Sky Vista No required reading list. Choose from the suggested reading list created by the librarians.
St. Thomas Moore Students read one assigned book over the summer and return them in the fall. Additionally, students are encouraged to read the current CCBA books.

High Schools

Arapahoe A list is sent to the students each year. Incoming freshmen read one or two of the books and mail the principal a postcard about the books read.

The Cannery Row summer reading guide is available all incoming 10H students.

Eagle Crest

A general summer reading program with 20 book choices that every student (including current 8th graders) must participate in.

The only exception is students who will be taking an honors English class (they have one specific book they must read). The only title currently specified for incoming honors English freshmen is The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak.
