Learn English Online!

With your Arapahoe Libraries library card and a working email address, you can take online English classes for free, using Transparent Languages Online.

Use this link to see a video about how to use Transparent Languages Online.

To get to this resource, first go to the top of the library webpage and click where it says, "Online Resources." Select "Online Resources." If you are using a phone or tablet, you may see three horizontal lines instead of the words "Online Resources." Click on those lines instead.

Clicking on "Online Learning" will take you to a page with all of our online classes. Move down the page until you find the listing for Transparent Languages Online. Click on the name, and you will be taken to a new webpage.  Again, click where it says, "Transparent Language Online."

You will be taken to the Transparent Languages Online website. Instead of entering information where it says Log In, click where it says "Sign Up." You will then need to give your library card number and fill out your information.

After you create your account, you will be taken a to new webpage and asked to select the language you want to learn. When you click on English, you will have a list of options. Choose the one that is right for you.

When you have chosen the lesson you want (I chose "English for Speakers of Farsi"), you will be taken to My Learning Path, which is all your lessons in one place. Click "Learn," and get started on your first lesson!
