Since 2006, National Bullying Prevention Month has sought to increase awareness of bullying and provide resources to respond to such behavior. At Arapahoe Libraries, we are here to help you find the resources you need to address bullying and create a more compassionate community.
Unfortunately, bullying is a problem that can affect us at all ages.

- Inspire kindness in your child with these picture books, and help them learn about the experiences of their peers with these books about American immigrants. These picture books about a wide variety of experiences inspired by #WeNeedDiverseBooks.
- Teens dealing with bullies can check out these resources and books about other teens who have had similar experiences.
- If you're dealing with bullies in the adult world, this list of resources and relevant media may help. Adults can also gain a better understanding of the immigrant experience to foster empathy for those not like themselves.
And no matter your age, you can check out our guide for finding books about bullying and other tough topics at the library, inspired by 13 Reasons Why, a novel where a girl commits suicide after experiencing bullying.
