National Small Business Week

Did you know that more than half of all Americans own or work for a small business? Or that two thirds of new jobs are created by small businesses? Since 1963, the President of the United States has proclaimed National Small Business Weekopens a new window an opportunity to highlight the contributions of these innovative and industrious entrepreneurs. It's also a great opportunity for us as consumers to get out into the community and show our appreciation and support for local businesses through our patronage.

2019's Colorado Small Business Person of the Year,opens a new window awarded by the Small Business Administration, is local business owner Rick Schmidt of Tipping Point Solutions in Centennial, CO. He will be honored in Washington D.C., along with winners from other states, for his hard work creating a multimedia eLearning company, specializing in designing and developing engaging interactive training solutions. Congratulations to this great business in our community making a huge impact!
