Parents of Picky Eaters: Unite!

Do you have a picky eater at home? Do mealtimes seem more like a battleground than family togetherness time?

If you missed our Picky Eaters program at Eloise May Library, you’re in luck! You can now get expert information and advice from your own home by watching the recorded version of the program. Amanda Gersabeck, early childhood nutrition specialist with the Tri-County Health Department, provided practical tips for encouraging children to like new foods. Find out about the history of the Clean Plate Club and why it's discouraged today. Watch the recording, opens a new window for ways to set up a positive mealtime environment.

Our Picky Eaters program was a part of our ongoing “Parenting Strategies” series. Look for the next program, "Meltdowns and Power Struggles", at Koelbel Library on May 6, 2020. Liz Wyknenko from All-Health Network will talk about positive parenting approaches. Registration opens on April 1, 2020.
