Scavenger Hunt #3

Erin is at it again with this letter-finding challenge!

Letter knowledge is being able to recognize the shape and name of letters and is used to build literacy skills in school.

Go on a hunt to find the letters in your child's name and yours! Take a walk together outside to find letters on road signs or look through your books at home.

After you have found all the letters, have fun singing "The Alphabet Song"! Try singing it and pausing between lettersor sing to different tune (such as "Row, Row, Row Your Boat"). This will separate the letters and children can hear the names of the different letters distinctlyespecially in that tricky L-M-N-O-P section.

Want more seek-and-find adventures? We have Scavenger Hunt #1 and Scavenger Hunt #2 to keep you looking high and low.
