Would You Like to Present a Program?

The Programming Department supports the mission and goals of the Arapahoe Library District by providing programs that are of current interest and cover a broad spectrum of topics and points of view.

As an effective mechanism for outreach and promotion, programs:

  • Contribute to the Library District's vision of a literate, informed and fulfilled community
  • Elevate the Library District's profile in the community
  • Allow the Library District to forge partnerships with both groups and individuals
  • Attract regular and new patrons of all backgrounds
  • Highlight our collections

Programs must:

  • Support the Library District’s strategic goals of Building Community Connections and Empowerment through Literacy (know-how).
  • Be planned at least eight months before the program date.

Proposals must include all required information.

About the Presenter
Please tell us about yourself. Include accomplishments, education, employment, licenses and any other information related to your qualifications in relation to this program.
Please provide two or three references, ideally from places where you have recently appeared.

The description should be enticing and provide attendees with information on what they will learn, observe, hear or create at the program. Describe your idea in one or two sentences.
Typical program length: Children's - 45-60 minutes, Teen - 45-90 minutes, Adult - 45-90 minutes, Family - 45-60 minutes

The Library District budget is set in September of the year prior to the delivery of programs. If this program requires a fee, please list the amount.
