Arapahoe Libraries can deliver materials directly to your home if you are unable to visit the library or Library on Wheels. The service is offered to our patrons who have temporary or long-term physical or medical limitations, or who lack transportation – regardless of age.
You can request specific titles or ask us to select titles for you. From the latest fiction, classics and cookbooks, to music CDs and DVDs, we have thousands of materials waiting for you. We will bring the library to you!
We offer two different options for Home Delivery Library Service:
Special Home Delivery:
Library staff or volunteers will make home deliveries of materials directly to your residence at an arranged time. Call 303-LIBRARY (303-542-7279) to get started.
Materials by Mail:
If you prefer to have library items sent to your home via the United States Postal Service, you can use the Materials by Mail program. We pay the postage for both the delivery and return of materials, and will include a postage-paid, addressed envelope to easily return materials back to the library. Call 303-LIBRARY (303-542-7279) to get started.
Mobile Library Services provides small collections of books and other library materials (a deposit collection) to senior facilities within the Arapahoe Libraries that may not be large enough for a bookmobile stop yet are ideal for small, residential-type facilities. Each collection is specifically chosen for each facility and rotated on a monthly basis. For additional information, please call 303-LIBRARY (303-542-7279).
