COMMUNITY RESOURCE SPECIALISTS

WHO WE ARE

Community Resource Specialists are available to guide patrons in connecting with community resources that meet their unique needs. They are highly knowledgeable about public, private and government organizations that can assist patrons with housing, health insurance, mental health, food banks, programs for children and teens, and caregiving for friends and family members, among many other topics. Community Resource Specialists are part of the Mobile Library Services team.

Schedule a 1 hour in-person (or phone) appointment with a Community Resource Specialist at an available time using the appointment form.

  • Patron appointments can be scheduled for a maximum duration of one hour per appointment. This will allow our team to have increased access to a greater number of library patrons.
  • To be as fair as possible to all, library patrons may only reserve one appointment at a time and can only be scheduled up to 30 days in advance.
  • Patrons are not able to request to speak with a specific member of the CRS team as Community Resource Specialists take turns visiting each library location, and the schedule varies from week to week.

  • Ask a Question responses through email may take up to 48-72 hours, depending on how busy our team is serving other library patrons.
