Communication Systems

Communication systems, equipment and supplies, such as stationery, telephones, copiers, fax machines, computer e-mail, and Internet/Intranet access, are provided and maintained for staff to conduct library and administrative business.

As per Colorado statutes (C.R.S 24-72-204.5, and as amended from time to time), all District communication, electronic or otherwise, may be considered public record and subject to public inspection.

It is the policy of the Arapahoe Library District to not monitor electronic communication except upon the receipt of a public request, or to evaluate its use or misuse.
