Educator Support Service is meant to help local educators by providing materials for their classrooms.
Teachers and homeschooling parents may request materials for their classrooms by title, genre, or subject by calling 303-LIBRARY (303-542-7279) or by completing our online form. A Youth Services Librarian will contact you within 48 hours to confirm your request. You can also search our Educator Collection for materials to check out.
Librarians will select up to 10 items and put them on the hold shelf of the branch you select. You will be notified when your materials are ready for pick up.
Four days notice is required to give the librarians time to gather your materials and process your request.
Although many materials will be available within 4 days, with a little more time (1-2 weeks) we can request items from other library systems through the Prospector partnership.
Remember that there may be a high demand for certain subjects, and that the library may only own a few titles on your topic or at your requested age level.
If you need more than 10 items, feel free to place holds yourself on additional items online and have these items sent to the branch of your choice for pick up.
If you have any questions about EDUCATOR SUPPORT SERVICE, call 303-LIBRARY (303-542-7279) and ask to speak with a Youth Services Librarian.
