3D Printing in the Makerspace

Become familiar with our 3D Printing services at the library! Arapahoe Libraries currently offers two methods of 3D printing, read more below to see which service works best for you!

3D PRINTING SERVICE

The easiest way to 3D print is through the 3D Print Service, opens a new window, patrons can submit files on the Arapahoe Libraries website and our technology specialist team will prep the files, print them, and then contact the patron when the print is ready for pick up at their preferred library location.

Advantages:

Limitations:

  • This is a great option for beginners as it requires no knowledge of 3D printers.
  • Patrons can pick up completed prints from any of the Arapahoe Libraries locations.
This is only applicable to prints under 5 hours of print time. If you’re unsure of the print time and size of your object does not matter, select “yes” to file resizing.
  • Patrons are unable to request specific colors.
  • Prints are one at a time.
  • Build Volume: 9.84"×8.3"×8.3"
  • Filament Type: PLA

3D PRINTING IN THE MAKERSPACE

The 3D Printers available in the Makerspace are available for reservation for independent patron use.
