Become familiar with our 3D Printing services at the library! Arapahoe Libraries currently offers two methods of 3D printing, read more below to see which service works best for you!
3D PRINTING SERVICE
The easiest way to 3D print is through the 3D Print Service, opens a new window, patrons can submit files on the Arapahoe Libraries website and our technology specialist team will prep the files, print them, and then contact the patron when the print is ready for pick up at their preferred library location.

This is only applicable to prints under 5 hours of print time. If you’re unsure of the print time and size of your object does not matter, select “yes” to file resizing.

3D PRINTING IN THE MAKERSPACE
The 3D Printers available in the Makerspace are available for reservation for independent patron use.
Patrons must first go through a certification process to learn and then demonstrate proper use of the printers and slicing software through a series of guided appointments.
For patrons who would like to learn more about how 3D printers work or have more control over the settings of their prints, being 3D print certified through the Makerspace is a great option!
To start certification, request an appointment on the Makerspace page under Contact Us, opens a new window.
- Select “Equipment”
- Select “3D Printing”
- Indicate in the form that you are interested in starting 3d printing certification.
