This blog post celebrates the return of the band Oasis, opens a new window to the United States on their Oasis Live ’25 reunion tour. After years apart, Oasis has reunited in 2025 for a very long-awaited world tour, rekindling their legacy as one of the most influential British bands of all time.
Who is Oasis?
Oasis is a British rock band formed in Manchester in 1991, led by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher. Rising from the working-class suburbs, they became the defining force of the Britpop movement in the 1990s with their raw sound, anthemic songs and Beatles-inspired melodies. Their debut album Definitely Maybe was a critical and commercial triumph, followed by the massive success of (What's the Story) Morning Glory? which included iconic tracks like "Wonderwall" and "Don't Look Back in Anger." Known as much for their explosive sibling rivalry as their music, the band enjoyed global fame before disbanding in 2009.
