Baby talk, or Parentese, actually helps tune babies' ears to their language or languages. It may sound silly, but the ups and downs of our speech are what make us especially interesting to those little ears. We're also slowing down words and letting babies hear the sounds we use regularly in our language.
No matter what languages you speak at home, talk slowly and exaggerated while using a musical voice to capture Baby's attention.
