Did you know when you sing to your baby, they're learning about ten different things? Betsy, one of our early literacy librarians, tells us how!

In "10 Ways Babies Learn When We Sing to Them", opens a new window from the National Association for the Education of Young Children, Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer include language development, vocabulary, rhythm, rhyme and listening skills on the list of things babies learn when you sing to them. Add to that the side benefits of bonding and smoothing over transition times, and you might decide to start singing even more!
