Your child's heritage starts very close to home: with you!
This month, tell your child stories about when you were little. Not only will you be bonding with them over your history, you'll be introducing them to storytelling. Even babies will love listening to you and watching your face as you tell stories you're passionate about.
Talk about traditions, songs you sang, vacations, pets, birthdays and early school days. Anything and everything that you'd like to share.
When you're done, ask them if they'd like to tell a story about themselves.
