Arapahoe Libraries is honored to announce that we have been selected as the winner of IFMA Denver’s first-ever Sustainable Facility Innovation Award. This inaugural recognition represents a major milestone for the Denver Chapter and underscores the rising importance of sustainability in the global facility management profession.

The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) is the world’s largest and most respected association for facility professionals, representing 130 chapters worldwide. IFMA has advanced the profession for 45 years internationally and 43 years through the Denver Chapter.
In 2025, IFMA Denver introduced its first Sustainability Award, honoring organizations that demonstrate exceptional leadership in reducing environmental impact, improving occupant well-being, and driving long-term operational efficiency.
Earning the inaugural award highlights Arapahoe Libraries as a sustainability leader both regionally and within IFMA’s global community.
This award reflects not only the strength of our organizational initiatives but also the dedicated leadership of Cameron Bowen, Supervisor of Projects, Fleet & Courier Services.
