The Programming policy of the Arapahoe Library District supports the mission and goals of the District to provide programs that are current and cover a broad spectrum of topics and points of view. Program themes flow from the Arapahoe Library District strategic plan. As an effective mechanism for outreach and promotion, programs: 1) contribute to the library’s vision of a literate, informed and fulfilled community; 2) elevate the library’s profile in the community; 3) allow the library to forge partnerships with both groups and individuals; 4) attract regular and new users of all backgrounds, and 5) highlight collections.
The Arapahoe Library District entrusts the selection, implementation and cancellation of programs to designated staff members. It is understood that such trust is a specific delegation of authority from the Executive Director, who retains ultimate responsibility to the Board of Trustees for the overall operation of the Library District.
The Arapahoe Library District regards its programs as a totality, distributed among various library facilities and virtually, and developed to meet the needs of the Library District’s community while striving to be responsive to the specific needs of its communities.
The Arapahoe Library District supports free and open access to information and ideas as stated in the Library Bill of Rights and the Freedom to View policies of the American Library Association. (Refer to E-3, Library Bill of Rights and E-5, Freedom to View).

La política de Programación del Distrito de Bibliotecas de Arapahoe apoya la misión y los objetivos del Distrito de proporcionar programas que sean actuales y cubran un amplio espectro de temas y puntos de vista. Los temas de los programas se derivan del plan estratégico del Distrito de Bibliotecas de Arapahoe. Como mecanismo eficaz de alcance y promoción, los programas 1) contribuyen a la visión de la biblioteca de una comunidad alfabetizada, informada y realizada; 2) elevan el perfil de la biblioteca en la comunidad; 3) permiten a la biblioteca forjar asociaciones tanto con grupos como con individuos; 4) atraen a usuarios habituales y nuevos de todos los orígenes, y 5) Resaltan las colecciones.
El Distrito de Bibliotecas de Arapahoe confía la selección, implementación y cancelación de programas a los miembros del personal designados. Se entiende que dicha confianza es una delegación específica de autoridad del Director Ejecutivo, quien conserva la responsabilidad última ante el Consejo de Administración por el funcionamiento general del Distrito de Bibliotecas.
El Distrito de Bibliotecas de Arapahoe considera sus programas como una totalidad, distribuidos entre varias instalaciones bibliotecarias virtuales, y desarrollados para satisfacer las necesidades de la comunidad del Distrito de Bibliotecas, al tiempo que se esfuerza por responder a las necesidades específicas de sus comunidades.
El Distrito de Bibliotecas de Arapahoe apoya el acceso libre y abierto a la información y a las ideas, tal como se establece en la Declaración de Derechos de las Bibliotecas y políticas de Libertad para Ver, de la Asociación Americana de Bibliotecas. Программная политика библиотечного района Arapahoe поддерживает миссию и цели округа по предоставлению актуальных программ, охватывающих широкий спектр тем и позиций. Темы для программ берутся из стратегического плана библиотечного района Arapahoe. В качестве эффективного механизма информационно-пропагандистской работы, программы: 1) способствуют представлению библиотеки о грамотном, информированном и полноценном сообществе; 2) повышают авторитет библиотеки в сообществе; 3) позволяют библиотеке наладить партнерские отношения как с группами, так и с отдельными лицами; 4) привлекают постоянных и новых пользователей любого происхождения и 5) демонстрируют коллекции.
Библиотечный район Arapahoe поручает выбор, реализацию и отмену программ назначенным сотрудникам. Понятно, что такое доверие представляет собой конкретное делегирование полномочий исполнительным директором, который несет полную ответственность перед Советом попечителей за общую работу библиотечного района.
Библиотечный район Arapahoe рассматривает свои программы как совокупность, виртуально распределенную между различными библиотечными учреждениями и разработанную для удовлетворения потребностей сообщества библиотечного района, стремясь при этом реагировать на конкретные потребности сообщества.
Библиотечный район Arapahoe поддерживает свободный и открытый доступ к информации и идеям, как указано в Билле о правах библиотек и политике Свободы просмотра Американской библиотечной ассоциации. (См. E-3, Билль о правах библиотеки и E-5, Свобода просмотра).
