Libraries are Open with Modified Hours Starting January 19

Arapahoe Libraries are open for you to pick up holds, use library computers and browse. Welcome back to the library!

The health and safety of our patrons and staff continue to be the top priority. The library will be open during the day for 90-minute time blocks from 12–5:30 pm, Monday through Saturday, with intermittent 30-minute closures for cleaning and sanitizing.

Park and Pickup services are also available to pick up holds for your convenience. Please make an appointment here or call 303-LIBRARY (303-542-7279).

Book drops are open and accepting returns at all locations.

Technology Specialists are available by chat or phone for questions.

Please read the COVID-19 Code of Conduct guidelines for what to expect when visiting the library under COVID-19 restrictions. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Arapahoe Libraries has implemented safety guidelines with you and staff in mind. Do not enter the library if you are sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have recently been in contact with someone who has a confirmed or suspected case. Please reference the COVID-19 Code of Conduct guidelines for what to expect when visiting the library under COVID-19 restrictions.

  • Individuals will maintain six feet of physical distancing between themselves and others within the libraries.
  • Libraries are open during the day with intermittent closures for cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Patrons 3 years and older are required to wear masks while inside the libraries. For mask requirements, view the COVID-19 Code of Conduct.
  • Food and drink are not allowed within the libraries.

Printing is available at the library. Computers are available on a first come, first served basis. Not all computers may be available due to social distancing guidelines. You can use contactless printing to remotely send a print to a library printer, then have your print job brought to you in a library parking lot.

Coming in 2021: New Ways to Pick Up Your Holds

Arapahoe Libraries is making it easier to pick up holds at your convenience in 2021! Stay tuned for information about our self-service holds lockers, which will be available for patrons to access 24/7—even outside of library hours.

We are currently accepting materials returns via our manual book drop. Larger-sized materials that do not fit into book drops, such as book club kits, may be returned during your Park and Pickup appointment or inside the library. As always, we are fine-free, so feel free to hang onto your items.
