The Audio and Video Recording Rooms provide tools for you to record podcasts, make music, do voice work, edit audio projects, create visual media, record presentations or edit video projects.

No matter the project, the Audio and Video Recording Rooms are your one-stop creative shops.

Audio and Video Recording Rooms are available for use at The Space by Arapahoe Libraries.

Reserve a time online to use a recording room or call 303-LIBRARY (303-542-7279) to make a reservation.

  • Recording Room reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Please read the guidelines before reserving a room.

  • The Audio and Video Recording Rooms can be used to record podcasts, make music, do voice work, edit audio projects, create visual media, record presentations or edit video projects.

  • Bring something to store digital files on. A flash drive of 16 GB should suffice for most projects.

    If you subscribe to Cloud storage, this is also an option.

  • You can reserve the Audio or Video Recording Room for up to 3 hours per day. Only one room can be reserved per person, per day.

  • Related apps and software are AdobeCC, Audacity and Ableton.

  • You can schedule an appointment with a librarian to learn more about the software and apps available in the Audio and Video Recording Rooms.

    You can also find tutorials for some of equipment and online courses through LinkedIn Learning.

  • You can set up an appointment with a librarian to learn how to use the tools. If a Technology Specialist is at your library location, they can also provide assistance.
