Celebrate reading with a "book-nic."
What better way to fill out your summer reading log than to borrow a bunch of books and enjoy them together? Why not take a "book-nic"? It's a picnic—with books as the main course! Pack up some snacks, a blanket, and some favorite titles and head to the park. Spread out your blanket, enjoy your snacks and share your books.
Children who see the grownups in their lives reading are more likely to become readers themselves. Let your kids see you enjoying a book too!
