What do librarians love besides books? Our pets! We can't wait to show off our critter companions doing wintery things. Want to get to know them? Click on their photo!
- My little reindeer Lacie, begging for some reindeer treats! She LOVES it when her mom dresses her up.
- Annie is ready for the holidays. She especially loves to bake, because she gets to lick the mixing spoon. Yum!
- Annie’s big brother Ben, however, could care less about baking. He’s very comfortable outside, even when it’s snowing!
- This is Leia. She was very excited to experience her first snow. Unfortunately she got some up her nose, which made her sneeze. Would still rate the experience 12/10.
- Ripley does NOT like to get rained or snowed on, so she has a brand new coat with a very special hood.
- My rescue cat Callie has slowly been licking her fur off in old age. Sometimes she needs a heating pad to stay warm during her cat naps.
- Zoe, our red Shiba Inu, is all cuddled up and ready for a winter snuggle! Fleece blankets are her favorite, and we frequently realize that she has stolen the blankets off of the bed to make her own blanket nest to snuggle in.
- This is Rory hiking Quandary Peak. Even with boots, her Halloween costume and a sweater, the wind was so cold that she and I turned back. She’s a trooper though and made it up ten 14ers this year (it’s not so hard when you only weigh 12 lbs).
- My Sparky thinks he has the ability to hypnotize food. He was eyeing that turkey for 30 minutes, yet nothing ever made it to his snout!
