What do librarians love besides books? Our pets! We can't wait to show off our critter companions doing wintery things. Want to get to know them? Click on their photo!
MarcieMy little reindeer Lacie, begging for some reindeer treats! She LOVES it when her mom dresses her up.
DagmarAnnie is ready for the holidays. She especially loves to bake, because she gets to lick the mixing spoon. Yum!
DagmarAnnie’s big brother Ben, however, could care less about baking. He’s very comfortable outside, even when it’s snowing!
Julie D.This is Leia. She was very excited to experience her first snow. Unfortunately she got some up her nose, which made her sneeze. Would still rate the experience 12/10.
AsiaRipley does NOT like to get rained or snowed on, so she has a brand new coat with a very special hood.
LauraMy rescue cat Callie has slowly been licking her fur off in old age. Sometimes she needs a heating pad to stay warm during her cat naps.
BeccaZoe, our red Shiba Inu, is all cuddled up and ready for a winter snuggle! Fleece blankets are her favorite, and we frequently realize that she has stolen the blankets off of the bed to make her own blanket nest to snuggle in.
KaseyThis is Rory hiking Quandary Peak. Even with boots, her Halloween costume and a sweater, the wind was so cold that she and I turned back. She’s a trooper though and made it up ten 14ers this year (it’s not so hard when you only weigh 12 lbs).
CarmenMy Sparky thinks he has the ability to hypnotize food. He was eyeing that turkey for 30 minutes, yet nothing ever made it to his snout!
