Halluci Nation, opens a new window, formerly known as A Tribe Called Red, is a Canadian electronic music collective that continues to innovate the fusion of Indigenous music and contemporary sounds. Founded in 2008 by Ian "DJ NDN" Campeau, Tim "2oolman" Hill and Bear Witness, the group rebranded as Halluci Nation in 2020 to reflect their commitment to cultural storytelling and activism. Their music blends traditional powwow rhythms with genres like hip-hop, dubstep, and dance, creating a vibrant sound that celebrates Indigenous identity and addresses social issues. With their critically acclaimed albums, including "We Are the Halluci Nation," the collective has garnered multiple awards and a devoted fanbase, using their platform to amplify Indigenous voices and promote cultural awareness through art and performance.
