Proctored Testing Locations in Colorado

Have you been told you need to have an exam proctored?  Proctored exams are tests that are given and supervised by a proctor to make sure everything is fair and secure. The proctor’s job is to confirm the taker's identity, watch over the exam process and ensure that rules are followed, much like a teacher monitoring a classroom during a test.

Because the exam needs to be supervised, it may be given in-person at testing center or could be issued online and monitored with special software. It all depends on the type of exam being given and the institution requiring it. The goal is to prevent cheating and create a level playing field for everyone taking the exam. In short, a proctored exam helps guarantee that your results truly reflect your own knowledge and effort. Examples of proctored exams include important major course exams for colleges or universities (midterms/finals), professional certifications (like insurance, IT), licensing exams or high-stakes job candidate assessments
