See words in a different way with your child!
Cut out words from old mail, magazines or cardboard boxes. Have your child arrange them into a collage and paste them down on another sheet of paper or leave them loose so they can keep moving the words around.
When your child is finished, point to each of the letters and words and talk about what they mean. Point out the shape of each letter, curvy lines and straight lines. What size are the letters? If they're big, say them LOUD!
