Save the Date: Early Literacy Speaker

The Child and Family Library Services team at Arapahoe Libraries is proud to announce that on September 8, 2022, we will host a virtual talk by Dr. Dana Suskind, founder and co-director of the TMW Center for Early Learning and Public Health, director of the Pediatric Cochlear Implant Program, and professor of surgery, pediatrics, and public policy (affiliated) at the University of Chicago.

Suskind is the author of the book Thirty Million Words, which explores the importance of talking to young children as a key to a child’s success later in life, as well as the newly released Parent Nation, which discusses how neuroscience of early childhood development can guide us toward a future in which every child is able to fulfill their full potential.

Join us to hear about her books and research as well as gain practical knowledge on how to give your child, and the children in your community, the best possible start in life!
