Keep reading fun for everyone in the family with these simple tips:
- Read about what your child is interested in. That could be trucks, princesses, dinosaurs or all three!
- If they don't want to read at that moment, stop reading, even if you're in the middle of a book. It's not the quantity that counts, it's the quality.
- Let your child "catch" you reading a book or magazine you enjoy. Kids love to imitate their favorite role model: you!
- Take books with you wherever you go. A good book is a great way to keep children occupied during long waits at the doctor's office, in the car or at a restaurant.
