How to Play Back and Confirm Recordings on the RodeCaster Pro II

Using the RodeCaster Pro II, you can quickly review your recordings directly on the device.

Get Started Reviewing Your Recordings

1. Open the Main Menu - Tap the Ø icon in the top-left of the touchscreen to open the main menu.
   
2. Go to Recordings - Tap the blue "Recordings” button (circled in red). You’ll then see a list of all saved recordings.
   
   
3. Select Your Recording - Scroll if needed and tap the recording you want to review. Note: File names are usually timestamp-based unless you renamed them.
4. Play the Recording - Tap the Play button (circled in red). 
   
5. Monitor and Navigate Play back - Audio will play through headphones. To navigate a recording, use the timeline slider (circled in yellow) to move through audio. The jump buttons (circled in red) skip forward or back (15–30 seconds). 
   

Trimming and Editing

1. Tap the scissors icon (circled in red) to enter edit mode. 
    
2. Drag the waveform edges (circled in red) to trim or add fades. 
    
3. Press the play button to preview.
4. Tap the green check (circled in yellow) to save.
   

Troubleshooting

• No sound during playback?
  • Check your headphone output is turned up.
• Wrong file?
  • Double-check timestamps or file names.
• Can’t find recording?
  • Confirm your SD card or USB-C flash drive is inserted properly.
