Heart is an American rock band formed in Seattle in the early 1970s and led by sisters Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson, whose powerful vocals and guitar-driven sound made them one of the most successful rock acts of their era. Blending hard rock, folk, and pop influences, the band broke through with their 1975 debut album Dreamboat Annie, featuring hits like “Magic Man” and “Crazy on You.” Over the decades, Heart achieved multi-platinum success with songs such as “Barracuda,” “Alone,” and “These Dreams,” earning a reputation for dynamic live performances and helping pave the way for women in rock music. In 2013, Heart was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, cementing their legacy as one of the most influential rock bands of the 20th century. Heart continues to tour and remains a powerful force in rock music.
