What you will need to create (or burn) a CD
- CD/DVD drive (Internal or External)
- Audio file(s) (such as .mp3)
- Blank CD
How to use Toast Titanium to create an Audio CD
If you're using an external CD/DVD drive, plug that in now. No need to put your blank CD in yet.
1. Click on the Toast Titanium icon, pictured below.
2. The Toast Titanium home window opens.
3. Since you are going to be making a CD so click on Burn Audio CD.
4. On the next screen you will drag and drop your mp3 files.
5. Here's the result after dragging and dropping three of my audio (mp3) tracks.
6. Now click on the Burn button.
7. You will likely get this message. Go ahead and give your disc a name. Then click OK.
8. You will then be asked to insert a black CD into the external CD/DVD drive.
9. If you're using a CD-RW blank CD, you might get this message.
10. After clicking continue Toast Titanium will start the burning process. Below are some pop ups you'll see while the burning process happens.
11. When the disc is ready you will get the following message. Click on the Eject button. The CD will eject from the external drive.
12. You will likely get this message. Click the OK button.
13. You'll then be back at Step 5 where you can decide to close down Toast Titanium or delete the tracks, add fresh tracks, and then burn another CD. To delete the track(s) just click on one or all of them and hit the delete button on your keyboard. That will take you to Step 4 where you need to add tracks.
14. To close out of Toast Titanium. Go up to the top-left corner of the computer screen and click on Toast 20 Titanium. Scroll to the bottom of the drop-down menu and click on Quit Toast 20 Titanium.
14. That's it! You're all done!
