LEARN ENGLISH

ENGLISH LANGUAGE CLASSES: FALL 2022

Improve your English language skills! Registration and classes are for adults. Childcare is not available.

Fall Classes are from August to December 2022. Classes include practice in the following areas: listening, reading, speaking, writing, grammar and vocabulary building. Classes also include a login to Burlington English and work in this program outside of class each week is required. Students are required to use Burlington English for two hours a week, outside of class time. Childcare is not available.

STEP 1: REGISTRATION

To sign up for classes, please attend one of the following sessions. The session is 2.5 to 3 hours and includes enrollment, orientation and placement test. Please do not bring children. Classes are free. Space is limited.

SMOKY HILL LIBRARY

  • Tuesday, August 9 – 9:30 am and 5:45 pm
  • Thursday, August 11 – 9:30 am and 5:45 pm

ELOISE MAY LIBRARY

  • Monday, August 22 – 5:45 pm
  • Tuesday, August 23 – 9:30 am and 5:45 pm
  • Wednesday, August 24 – 9:30 am and 5:45 pm
  • Thursday, August 25 – 9:30 am

Smoky Hill Library

  • Mondays: 6:30–8 pm
    • May 2 and 16, June: no meetings, July 18 and 25, 2022
